I for one have been, and will continue to be, a huge fan of the Big Show, considering him to be one of the greatest performer's and in-ring competitors over the 300lb mark.

This DVD provides a great documentary chronicling his rise into WCW as The Giant, immediately following onto his debut as the Big Show in WWE, his destructive dominance as World Champion in WWE's short lived revival of the ECW programme and eventually showing his rise into the tag-team ranks alongside Jericho and The Miz.

The documentary is good, but as a sole criticism, it perhaps isn't as in-depth as the one featured on Chris Jericho's recent DVD release. I would've liked to of known more about Big Show's thoughts on the backstage politics of WCW and reasons for him eventually wanting to leave for (the then) WWF. I also would've liked more insight into what his favourite matches were and what inspired him to become a WWE Superstar and maybe just a bit more behind-the-scenes information. For example his reasoning for wanting to leave the WWE from 2007 to 2008 is completely ignored. This however isn't a knock on the documentary portion of the DVD, as there's only so much you can show, I just wanted a little bit more insight.

The full-length matches featured on the rest of the DVD are very good; some of my favourites include his match with Kurt Angle from No Mercy 2003, with Triple H from New Years Revolution 2006, not to mention the awesome spectacle of Wrestlemania XXIV, where he competed against Floyd "Money" Mayweather. The DVD also does a good job of showcasing all his major World Title wins from WCW, WWE and ECW. I would've liked to of seen a few more matches from his rivalry with Shane McMahon, his feud with The Rock and maybe just one one-on-one match with Shawn Michaels, but again, you can only show so much.

The Big Show: A Giant's World, is a great DVD release from the WWE, and certainly one to pick up if, like myself, you're a fan of the World's Largest Athlete. The only criticism being that it feels slightly incomplete, but it still makes for a great, informative and entertaining DVD release. A definite must-buy if you're a fan of this big guy.

One of the best WWE DVD?s EVER !!!. And I have a lot !!! Before i saw this DVD, I liked Big Show but I wasn?t really a Fan, But after I saw this DVD, I?m became a "BIG" Big Show Fan. This DVD shows his real charakter,how he grown up,how je came to WWE and and and...... great Story about him,
Also a lot fanstastic matches. So a must have for any WWE Fan. I love Paul !!!

This is certainly not a must buy by any means but it's a enjoyable documentry none the less. Big Show and co talk honestly and share some interesting information around his childhood and issues he faced from fellow superstars when he joined WWE. Disc 2/3 match selections are enjoyable also. 3/5 stars for me- good effort
