I give this tagged classic a 3-star rating. The fab four disc is the reason its not a 4 star, otherwise the One Night Only event was very good. The negatives on the Fab 4 disc, was there is loads of wrestling footage from all 4 stars on this dvd, which most WWE fans will probably have on other PPV dvd's. Lots of footage from Mania's, Summerslams ect... still this would be good for those who dont have footage like that on other PPV dvd's. I only found a few parts i didnt like with the actual one on one interviews with Jim Ross. The Undertaker was in gimmick (creatures of the dark night... hmmmmm )but you can relate to what his saying and the man talks good sence. He quotes alot of interesting views on Foley, Hogan, Nash and Bret ect. There are good points on this dvd aswell. The Bulldog interview was more like a documentry rather than old clips from other Summerslams ect. Talks about his personal life which is interesting, Diana, Dynamo, his youth. Pritty good. The HBK interview isnt anything special. If you already have his 3-disc box set then dont even bother watching his part of the dvd. I found the Hitman's interview interesting also. Again alot of what he said is covered on the Bret Hart dvd in much more detail. Shame really but as i said a good buy if dont have many WWE dvd's in your collection.

The One Night Only dvd is thoroughly enjoyable. Worth the money without a doubt. The main event is very heated. The fans let you know what they think of the Bulldog v Hbk match which is a good solid match. 4 stars for that one. Hunter v Dude Love is a strong opener. Again good match, has its funny parts also setting the pace for the rest of the PPV. L.O.D's match with the godwins is a very physical match up. Pritty even to be honest L.O.D come out to a huge pop. Bret v Taker is a 4-star match up. Strong from start to finish. Best match fo the night by far was the Vader v Owen Hart match. This is a classic in my view, check it out for yourself its a must see.
Overall i would still buy this dvd for the PPV but there are a few down points on the Fab 4 disc. Other than that it does has it plus points so its worth the asking price.

The Fab Four is really nothing special for anyone who has been around during that time, but if you've become a fan post-1997, this might be an enjoyable program explaining the wrestlers' characters in 1997. One Night Only is an enjoyable show, even though the majority of the matches aren't anything special. However, the crowd reaction in the UK is usually tremendous, and this is no exception. The Owen vs. Vader match is decent, while Bret vs. Undertaker truly is better than their Summer Slam 1997 match. The HBK vs. Smith match has a lot of heat and is really good, despite the real life backstory to it.
