RECENSIONI DEI CLIENTI
Given the year 2009 was superb for PPV quality in ring, I have to say that Backlash is the best PPV from that period of time. Fairly often I hear people remark that Backlash became the PPV to purchasei nstead of 'Mania due to pay offs and here it's reinforced perfectly.
Jericho/Steamboat is the match that should have happened at 'Mania, and apart from the sheer joy of seeing Ricky performing, the actual build and psychology of the match was nigh on perfect. Jericho in his finest run against an all time great who still had it, there's not much more to say apart from that.
Swagger/Christian was quite clearly going to be the workrate match of the night, and it lived up to that. Christian in his current WWE run does not have bad matches with anyone, particularly an underutilised star like Swagger.
The only match that I don't enjoy on repeat viewings is the 6 man tag for the WWE title. In ring wise it was good, the hot tag to Batista was excellent etc, but as another review said it felt like a rinse/repeat of Raw shows. Not a bad match though, just one that I tend to skip on repeat watches.
There was a match I almost said wasn't too great but that's a lie...I am not a fan of the Hardy brothers in ring I should say, yet their match (again) was what should have happened at 'Mania. Perfect ending, great bumps, and even I as a non fan can't help but get into a match with someone as over as Jeff Hardy in it. The fun match of the night I suppose, and that's all you can ask for in wrestling, to be entertained.
Finally we have rematch number 25 of Cena vs Edge. Yet as always, their chemistry together makes the main event ebb and flow, when in an era where last man standing matches occur far too often, it made sense story wise. I'd say the only other LMS that stands out to me from the last few years was Extreme Rules 2010 with Batista/Cena.
As an extra comment I have to say how amazed I was that CM Punk/Kane was a fairly good match up. I'm not a fan of Kane in the slightest yet Punk playing as the small man in this hard hitting matchup made what was a thrown together for the PPV matchup into a surprise hit.
5/5 PPV, very little time spent on meanderless promos, just a card that is consistently great throughout.

A great PPV with great matches & surprising results. 9/10
ECW Championship
Swagger V Christian - A great starter(Second best match of the night for me). Really got the crowd in a good and exciting mood. Swagger & Christian performed incredibily together & I hope to see more between these two. 5/5
Chris Jericho V Ricky Steamboat
A great performance by the veteran steamboat. A great match & they had great in-ring chemistry. 3/5
CM Punk V Kane
A match that was quickly thrown together for the PPV but a good match anyhow. A fued that is likely to continue. 3/5
"I Quit" Match
Jeff Hardy V Matt Hardy
An extreme match with some brilliant moments. Typical of the Hardys to make a great match. 4/5
WWE Championship Match
Triple H, Batista and Shane McMahon V Legacy
A great match although I felt the end was predictable. The same kind of match they had been doing for weeks on Raw & Smackdown!. 4.5/5
World Heavyweight Championship Match
