WWE did a good job for money in the bank, all the matches were watchable and most of the time enjoyable.
Firstly the Smackdown Money In The Bank ladder match was the best money in the bank match of the night with a nice twist to the match involving a bigger ladder, for the Big Show, which ultimately made the money in the bank match not as repetitiive. Also the Kofi Kingston Boom Drop through the announce table was a huge spot which got a lot ofresponse from the fans. The right man won i think as it helped in the storyline advancement, but i would love WWE to do something with Christian and either put him in a world title storyline or team him up with Edge again, lets face it Christian could do a better job than Sheamus and John Cena combined.
Jack Swagger Vs Rey Mysterio was the match of the night, although rather short,it was an amazing match and the two participents had amazing chemistry. Would have liked the match to go a little longer, but it was still match of the night, the ending between the match was good, but an unexpected add on match after this one,was like 50 seconds long but again was good in advancement of storyline
The Unified Tag Team Title match had one enjoyable spot with a samoan drop by the Usos, although it was a good match between the Usos and the Hart Dynasty it was forgettable, crowd was quiet and was too short
Both Divas matches were short and again like the Unified Tag Team Title match, forgettable however both were enjoyable while they lasted
The Raw money in the bank ladder match was not as good as the smackdown money in the bank ladder match, and with the numerous amounts of talent in the match i would have expected something a little better. There was not as much good spots like the smackdown ladder match, however the match was still very good and the right man won the money in the bank which i think will lead to a successful wwe championship reign
Finally the steel cage match for the wwe championship, this was the worst match on the card as it was slow and repetitive, I was tempted to fast forward it a bit, it was a 20 minuite long match which dragged on from the outset. The match did however pick up towards the last 1/4 of the match, but the match was too PG for my liking, WWE has lost a lot of its edge in certain matches like Hell in a Cell and Steel Cages, the ending was good, but would have been better if Nexus actually took John Cena out, instead of him kicking all their arses afterwards
Anyway a great dvd, easily the best one of 2010, i would definately pick this one up

When I first heard WWE were doing a PPV dedicated entirely to Money in the Bank match, I was against the idea as I feel the match is such a special one off match that should be saved until Wrestlemania, as the gimmick and excitement of the match would be ruined and overdone. However, I was happily proved wrong as Money in the Bank proved to be one of (if not the best) events of 2010. It was a night for new stars to be made, as well as the older, reliable main eventers to get their share of the spoils.
The Smackdown MITB match was truly an incredible way to open the show. They managed to keep the match fresh with innovative spots like the big shows huge ladder and getting just about every ladder in the match thrown on top of him. Kofi kingstons boom drop from the ladder was also an amazing move which sent the crowd crazy. This also, once again, proved to be a great way for the younger, less established stars to prove themselves (Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes both looked impressive in this match) but in the end the veteran walked away with the briefcase (probably not the best outcome, but then considering how badly they dropped the ball with Jack Swagger, the younger stars probably do need more time to become main eventers).
The Raw match didn't quite live up to the standards set earlier in the night but it was still and exciting match where nearly anyone could have won, Randy Orton was clearly a favourite, getting the biggest Face reaction of the match (and maybe the night), but ultimately The Miz gets the biggest win of his career and would go on to headline Wrestlemania.
The Main event was John Cena Vs Sheamus steel cage match which was far from the worst match of the night. It was probably a little disappointing following what had come before but I would agree that I was slow and plodding at times and it was what happened after the match, not the result that was the most important thing (which did hurt the overall match).
While many say that the Nexus should have been standing tall at the end of the event (instead of running away form one man) in truth - they had already done what they set out to do- intrude the main event and cost John Cena the WWE Championship.
The World Heavyweight Championship at this point was in a state of disarray, both Rey Mysterio and Jack Swagger are great wrestlers who put on a fine match but both were transitional champions, unable to have any sort of substantial or memorable reign. After the match Kane provided the shock moment of the night cashing in his briefcase to win the World Heavyweight Championship. The rest of the card is hardly noteworthy (did we really need two women's matches?) and the Uso's Vs Hart Dynasty was just a standard Raw tag match.
Overall then Money in the Bank 2011 was an excellent event far exceeding my expectations, and for such a great price, you can't afford to not have this in your collection. I look forward to seeing this years event.

Many wrestling fans say that WWE ain't what it used to be, and that its best days are behind them. These people need to sit down and watch Money In The Bank and marvel at the fast-paced, spot-filled Money In The Bank matches, one rewarding a rising star, the other celebrating a seasoned veteran. Sandwiched between the two ladder matches is a sensational athletic back-and-forth contest between Swagger and Mysterio, definitely one of the best matches of Swagger's young career. This is all topped off with an exciting Steel Cage match that will entertain even the biggest Cena-Haters. All in all, Money In The Bank has been without a doubt the PPV highlight of 2010 and one that every wrestling fan MUST own.

Money In the Bank 2010.
Although some of these new Pay per views have dragged on a bit this one was really good.
The two money in the bank matches stole the show but The Miz and Kane came out on top.
The World Heavyweight Championship match was a great match It was a drag down fight
with a very plausible ending. So instead of going through each match individually I,ll just give
you the stats.
Match of the night
1: Both money in the bank matches.
2. Sheamus vs John Cena .
3. Rey Mysterio vs Jack Swagger.
Biggest shocks.
1: Kane cashes in money in the bank.
2: Kofi launches off the ladder and puts Drew McIntyre through the announce table.
3.The Miz wins money in the bank.
Match that didn't need to be on the card but was still OK .
The Hart Dynasty vs The Uso,s .
Worst Match.
Layla vs Kelly Kelly.
So that's the stats on Money in the bank but of all the Pay Per Views of 2010 this one is one the top three so far. I strongly advise you buy this DVD Its got good matches and Its full of surprises.

The annual wrestlemania money in the bank ladder match recieves its own PPV, with a recent string of average PPV events, did WWE deliver on the promise, lets see. *SPOILER ALERT*
1. SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Big Show vs. Matt Hardy vs. Christian vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler
This match was fantastic a great start and the better of the two Money in the Bank ladder matches, unlike at WrestleMania nearly everybody got a chance to shine, albeit some more than others. The Kofi/Drew table spot was great, as was the ladder pile up outside the ring and some of the high impact moves were great. This was very much Kanes match, he performed at his best here showing he deserves top billing. Christian and Hardy really got a good respnse also (I admit I thought one of them would win). This was a great mesh of styles and the only problems came with a slow pace mid-match and that some did not shine as well as others (namely McIntyre.) The ending was one of the biggest WWE shocks in months, I really wanted Kane to win but did not see it coming, a deserved victory for a veteran who has payed his dues in the WWE business an deserves this win. 4/5
2. WWE Divas Championship Match
Alicia Fox (c) vs. Eve
These two ladies rebounded well from Fatal 4 Way delivering a well wrestled and quite entertaining match. Both of them impressed considering the the lack of PPV build up, I think Alicia Fox may have finally hit her stride and Eve was reliable as well. Even the fans intrest was held and despite a rush job set-up, this was a good womens match. 3/5
3. WWE United Tag Team Championship Match
The Hart Dynasty (c) vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso
Again these two teams had a great match on PPV, The Usos have a good future ahead of them and the Hart Dynasty validate there championship status. I liked the intensity of these two teams and the great strategic delivery of the tag team moves. The biggest problem was that the match was way too short and the ending suggests an end to thjis rivalry but I hope they have a third PPV contest. 3/5
4. WWE World Championship Match
Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Jack Swagger
Jack Swagger has looked a way bigger threat since his WWE World Title loss and the addition of the ankle lock to his arsenal was a focus of this match, providiong a great story to the match. Watching Rey Mysterio fight an uphill battle with an injury provided a great desperation feel to his fast and furious offense and this went hand in hand with the vicious and villainous feel to the superb Swagger. Both athletes really worked well and the Eddie Gurrero esque ending was perfect. Not to mention the aftermath which shook feelings of Kane cashing in one minute, and then... 4/5
5. WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Kane
The fire errupted Kane re-entered and cashed in, yes the match was under a minute long and yes only two moves finished off a weak champion. However I could not have been happier here Kane finally gets a title run after 12 years of deserving this and for that alone this deserves respect. 4/5
6. WWE Womens Championship
Layla (c) vs. Kelly Kelly
This had a lot of build-up and I had high expectations because these two can wrestle, but I was dissapointed. Especially considering the earlier womens match, the contest was sloppy and botchy and flowed in a disjointed way, with only a few good moves saving the day. The chemistry was off between these two and as a result the crowd were not really into this and consequently neither was I. 2/5
7. Raw Money in the Bank Ladder match
Randy Orton vs. John Morrison vs. Evan Bourne vs. The Miz vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Mark Henry
This had a lot to live up to considering the last Mitb contest and I do not believe it fully met the hype it was given, that being said it was a very good match with some innovative ladder spots and cringing moves. As well as this the wrestling itself was great and how the ladders were mostly used to amplify the moves worked well. Again everyone got their moments and interestingly it was the younger talent that showed up better here, in fact people like Orton, who got their moves in, were surprisingly absent, whereas people like Morrison showed up extremely well. Again the ending was a huge shock and while I can't say I wanted the result that happened the winner was best suited to be Mr. Money in the bank. 4/5
8. WWE Championship Steel Cage match
Sheamus (c) vs. John Cena
In terms of wrestling this was a hard hitting, well fought contest and both guys worked well together again. The problem was that this Steel Cage match was not nearly extreme and the cage was barely utilised, used only as a story purpose to isolate the competitors from the NXT should they appear. The problem was that when the enevitable happenend the Cage barely helped and Sheamus again looked like a weaker champion. Still it was not a bad way to end the night and the intense aftermath lead up well to Raw in which a blockbuster match for Summerslam promised a massive end to the NXT vs Cena rivalry. 3/5
Money in the Bank was an excellent PPV let down from 5 star level by small flaws and a sloppy Womens match, the ladder matches delivered and Kanes title win was a great highlight and thus far I believe Summerslam will be exceptional. 4/5
***SPOILERS***
MITB was one of wwe's better PPv's of the year in my opinion. It had some good matches and some great moments.
SD! MITB - Great way to start of the show. It got a lot of time and imo is the better of the 2 MITB matches. It had some awesome moments like Kofi's Boom drop through the table, Big Show getting buried under the ladders and kane throwing Rhodes into the armoured truck.
WINNER - Kane
****
Divas Title - Not a great match, nothing really that i can remember.
WINNER - Alicia Fox
*
Tag Title match - I really enjoyed this match. It had great tag team wrestling and some good double team moves like the Hart Dynasty hip toss into a hurricanrana and the freefall samoan drop from The Usos. Should have got about another 8-10 minutes. But still good match
WINNERS - Hart Dynasty
**1/2
World Heavyweight Title - This was a very good match. Swaggre dominated most of the match focusing on Reys ankle. Some nice counters aswell like the top rope powerslam into the DDT. Both men hit their finishers but they didn't end the match. Rey got his foot on the rope from the gutwrench powerbomb and Swagger countered reys west coast pop into the ankle lock. Really cool ending aswell. Same as what Eddie Guerreo (RIP) did at Mania 20
WINNER - Rey Mysterio
***1/2
After the match Kane came out to stop Swagger attacking Rey and they fought to the back. However as rey was celebrating Kanes pyro and music hit and out he came with the referee Charles Robinson and the briefcase that he won earlier in the night. Kane cashed it in and became the NEW World Heavyweight Champion!
N/A
Womens title match - like the other womens match nothing to talk about here.
WINNER - Layla
*
RAW MITB - This was another very good match although not quite as good as the SD! match earlier. What i liked about this match was that most of the veterans like Edge, Jericho and Henry took a back seat and let the young guns like Evan, Miz, Morrison and Dibias go at it. Sme nice spots in this match aswell.
WINNER - The Miz
***3/4
Steel Cage match - Honestly this match was decent but i expected it to be better. The pace was slow and methodical and the match went back back and forth with Sheamus finally getting the upper hand thanks to the ever present Nexus stable.
